As one of its major activities, JAIF holds its Annual Conference every spring, inviting a broad range of nuclear-related participants from Japan and around the world. This conference is one of the biggest event in the world nuclear industry, drawing some 1,500 specialists/experts in nuclear and other farranging fields. The Conference participants make presentations and take part in discussions on important matters affecting the development and use of energy and nuclear power. An important mission for JAIF is sorting out the key issues raised at each conference and consolidating its own suggestions toward solutions, including making proposals to the government and identifying challenges for the nuclear industry.
