{"id":395,"date":"2014-12-15T04:13:32","date_gmt":"2014-12-15T04:13:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jaif.or.jp\/en\/?p=395"},"modified":"2015-03-25T08:52:05","modified_gmt":"2015-03-25T08:52:05","slug":"japc-asks-nra-for-revised-look-on-tsuruga-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jaif.or.jp\/en\/news\/395","title":{"rendered":"JAPC Asks NRA for Revised Look on Tsuruga-2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In an evaluation report draft released on November 19, an expert panel of Japan\u2019s Nuclear Regulation Authority (NRA) deemed the D-1 fracture zone lying directly under Unit 2 of the Tsuruga Nuclear Power Station as a fault that \u201cmight become active in the future.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>On December 9, the plant operator, the Japan Atomic Power Company (JAPC), pointed out what it believed to be 61 problems in the report, saying that there had been mistakes of fact, omissions of key points, and conclusions not based on observed facts and data.
