{"id":620,"date":"2015-03-16T06:29:59","date_gmt":"2015-03-16T06:29:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jaif.or.jp\/en\/?p=620"},"modified":"2015-03-16T07:02:38","modified_gmt":"2015-03-16T07:02:38","slug":"japc-submits-request-to-nra-concerning-fault-zone-evaluation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jaif.or.jp\/en\/news\/620","title":{"rendered":"JAPC Submits Request to NRA Concerning Fault Zone Evaluation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On March 5, the Japan Atomic Power Company (JAPC) submitted a request to the national Nuclear Regulation Authority (NRA) concerning its evaluation of a fault zone of crushed rock at the Tsuruga Nuclear Power Station, which is owned and operated by the company.<\/p>\n<p>JAPC also asked for a meeting with NRA related to actions in regard to that group\u2019s panel of experts and the draft evaluation report.<\/p>\n<p>At the proposed meeting, representatives from JAPC would be allowed to sufficiently discuss the power company\u2019s views on the peer review released last December 10, along with the 63 problems pointed out in its objections to the draft evaluation report.
