The 58th Annual Conference will focus on accelerating the deployment of nuclear power while keeping in mind the necessity of establishing an effective business environment under the 7th Strategic Energy Plan. In pursuit of new nuclear build, which is key to addressing the challenges faced by the nuclear industry, discussions will center on industry efforts and potential solutions related to financing and investment recovery schemes, supply chain, and human resources securing and development. In addition, the conference will also highlight the resilience and recovery efforts of local stakeholders in Fukushima and provide an opportunity to envision the future of the nuclear industry with the next generation of young leaders.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Invited speakers will include Chairman of the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren)<\/span> TOKURA Masakazu,<\/span> Senior Vice President of Nuclear Energy Institute<\/span> John KOTEC and many others from not only nuclear but also diverse sectors across the world.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In response to the growing demand for power from AI and data centers, Constellation Energy, which announced a contract to supply power to Microsoft Corporation by restarting Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Plant (now Crane Clean Energy Center) Unit 1. Speakers from those companies will discuss importance of nuclear as a stable decarbonized power source from both the supply and demand sides.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
