KOYASU Shigeo, President of QST, said the partnership with UKAEA represents “a new opportunity to further deepen the long-standing cooperation between Japan and the United Kingdom in fusion energy development and to bring together the expertise of both organizations to address key challenges toward fusion power demonstration.”<\/p>\n
QST has recently strengthened its international presence in fusion research. Earlier this month, the organization signed a new ITER Task Agreement for the development and procurement of welding and cutting tools for temporary plugs, reflecting its technical expertise and continued contribution to the ITER project.<\/p>\n
