Under the agreement, the two organizations will be able to launch joint research projects, share research facilities, and exchange technical expertise.<\/p>\n<p>KOYASU Shigeo, President of QST, said the partnership with UKAEA represents &#8220;a new opportunity to further deepen the long-standing cooperation between Japan and the United Kingdom in fusion energy development and to bring together the expertise of both organizations to address key challenges toward fusion power demonstration.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>QST has recently strengthened its international presence in fusion research.
